I first met Barrie through my husband and we worked at the same place the Essex Water company, also Barrie and Roy grew up together going to the same school,playing football and snooker. They spent most of their time at the snooker hall they would each take it in turns to leave work and play snooker and some how I was always the one to cover for them. They both had a love of horse racing . Barrie was the kind of person once met never to be forgotten. Barrie helped me a lot after I lost Roy picking me up and taking me to his house which I was very grateful for. Roy and Barrie went their separate ways but Barrie was always there if I needed his help and never lost touch. I would like to think they are chatting over the RACING POST and I think the odds for Barrie would be 20-1 In our thoughts 12-1 Happy Memoires and 2-1 (favourite) For Ever In our Hearts.
